Use of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine has been paused in the United States

11/04/2021

Following the administration of more than 6.8 million doses of the Janssen vaccine, the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) decided to implement a pause in the
use of this vaccine, in light of the onset of six cerebral venous sinus thrombosis events. These events are being
investigated, and more information will be provided in the next report updates.
